We are again celebrating Hope in Highland with a concert on the Highland Square!
Highland Hope began as a church start in 1995 when the United Methodist Conference sent us our first pastor, Rev. Dr. Troy Benitone. We met first in the pastor’s basement, holding our first full worship service in the Highland Elementary Auditorium on December 3, 1995. We chartered as a United Methodist Church October 19, 1996.
In 1999, Rev. Dan Perry came to move us into the next phase. While he was here, we built our existing building and grew our church and outreach.
In 2013 Rev. Dr. Beverly Wilkes-Null became our pastor. Rev Bev is leading us into the future!
This year’s celebration will again have free food and live music. We are also supporting the Cantrell-Romero family in their fundraising to pay catastrophic medical bills. There will be items for purchase to support that cause.
Bring your lawn chair and join us for an evening of food, fellowship and fun!
