Highland Hope IFD team is looking to nurture your spiritual formation through two new ministries: a Wednesday night, intergenerational program called LOGOS and topical Connect Groups.
The LOGOS ministry is a four-part, mid-week program that brings all ages, from 3 to 103, together for a shared meal, recreation, worship and bible study. LOGOS operates on a school calendar and typically runs as a 3-4 hour, Wednesday night program.
This mid-week program provides an opportunity for all members of the church to get to know one another and serve in different capacities. It is also an outreach ministry as participation is open to the community involving children, parents and even grandparents.
Connect Groups come in all shapes and sizes; they can be male, female or co-ed. Connect Groups come together through shared interests such as crafts, topical studies, exercise, sports, nutrition, etc., and each gathering includes three C’s.
- Commitment: attend weekly or bi-weekly gatherings
- Consecration: devote time to prayer and study at gatherings
- Care: build caring relationships with others at gatherings
