History of Highland Hope
Highland Hope UMC began its first “trial” worship service on December 3, 1995. We were chartered as a United Methodist Church on October 20, 1996. Our church is dedicated to the needs of the family and boasts a large group of families
In 2003, we moved into Phase One of our Three Phase building plan.
In January of 2011, we launched a NEW Saturday night service we call “ACCESS”. Based on Romans 5:1-2, the goal of our ACCESS service is to reach the young at heart. The ACCESS service begins each Saturday evening at 6:00pm with homemade cookies, coffee, conversation, and live music.
Many great things are happening and we would invite you to join us in the continuing development of our new community of faith. Currently, we are running an average attendance of 350-400 and are committed to “making disciples” and the growth and development of the church.
Our vision doesn’t end with our worship services – that’s only the beginning! We are committed to providing ministries that meet the many needs of our community. We’re anxious to hear not only about your family’s needs, but also the concerns you have for the community and where you feel you can help.
Our Purpose…is to help people become passionate, lifelong followers of Jesus Christ, by “changing lives one heart at a time!”
We Value:
* Growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ
* Reaching out with God’s love and serving our neighbors
* Making a difference in the lives of people
