Small Groups

What are Small Groups?

Groups of 6-14 people who meet regularly for the purpose of sharing life together and growing in Christ. God has designed us to need each other in the Body of Christ. As such, we have been given a commandment to love one another. * Scripture reminds us that we are to actively love, encourage and serve one another. Small groups provide an atmosphere of encouragement, support and accountability in which important relationships can develop and spiritual growth can grow.

* A new command I give you: Love one another as I (Jesus) have loved you, so you must love one another.
John 13:34
* Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Thessalonians 5:11

Can I be a Small Group Leader?

Yes! If you have a heart for God’s people and can be committed to this important ministry. As a Small Group Leader, you will be encouraged with other Leaders to assist your group in getting connected with each other and to grow in their faith. As a Leader you will receive training and guidance for what you need to facilitate your group. The Small Group Coordinator is always available to assist you in whatever you need. Please contact our Small Group Coordinator to discuss if this is a position God is leading you towards.

Each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:10
